Quikline: Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 29, 2026
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Quikline (package com.corvant.opener), published by Corvant Technology Solutions Limited (RC 9470065, Lagos, Nigeria). This notice explains how Quikline handles your information. Where the law requires your consent (for example, for personalised advertising), we obtain it separately through the in-app consent dialog (Google UMP), not through your use of the app.
This policy explains what information is collected, by whom, for what purposes, on what legal basis, and what rights you have. Please read it carefully so you understand how your information is handled.
Quikline lets you quickly open phone numbers in WhatsApp. The phone numbers you type or paste are never collected by Corvant, sent to Corvant's servers, or stored anywhere off your device. The only time a number leaves your device is when you choose to open a chat: Quikline then hands that number to WhatsApp through WhatsApp's own official link (exactly as if you had typed it into WhatsApp yourself), and Corvant never receives, sees, or stores it. Recent numbers are saved only in your device's local storage for your convenience and remain entirely under your control; you can clear them at any time.
Who is the Data Controller
The data controller for purposes of the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and equivalent data-protection laws is:
Corvant Technology Solutions Limited
RC 9470065, Lagos, Nigeria
Email: [email protected]
For matters concerning your personal data, you may contact us at that address. We will respond within one month, as required by applicable data-protection law.
What Data is Collected and By Whom
Corvant's own application code does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on any server operated by Corvant. The data flows described below are generated exclusively by third-party SDKs integrated into the application.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). To serve and measure ads, AdMob automatically collects:
- Advertising identifier: the resettable advertising ID assigned by your device's operating system.
- IP address: used for approximate geolocation (country/region level) and fraud prevention; not stored long-term by AdMob in identifiable form.
- Device information: device model, OS version, screen size, and language.
- Ad interaction data: impressions, clicks, and attribution signals.
This data is processed by Google acting as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. For personalised advertising, this processing only occurs after you grant consent via the in-app consent dialog (Google UMP). You may change or withdraw your consent at any time within the app.

Google Firebase Analytics
Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) collects aggregate, pseudonymised usage data including:
- App events (screens viewed, features used, session duration).
- Device and OS information (model, version, language, country).
- A pseudonymous Firebase installation ID (not linked to your identity).
This data helps us understand how the application is used in aggregate so we can improve it. It is processed by Google as a data processor acting on our instructions.
Google Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) automatically captures diagnostic reports when the application crashes or encounters an error. A report contains:
- Stack traces and the state of the application at the time of the crash.
- Device model, OS version, and available memory.
- A pseudonymous Crashlytics installation UUID (rotated periodically).
- No user-entered content is ever included in crash reports.
This data is processed by Google as a data processor acting on our instructions and is used solely to identify and fix software defects.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
The application uses the Google UMP SDK to present a consent dialog in compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and applicable US state privacy laws. UMP records your consent choice locally and communicates it to Google’s ad infrastructure. The consent record is stored on-device and in Google’s systems to honour your preference consistently.
Data collected by no one (on-device only)
Certain application state (such as recently used inputs or user preferences) is stored exclusively in the device's local storage. This data does not leave your device and is not accessible to Corvant or any third party.
Purposes and Legal Bases
The following table describes the purposes for which data is processed and the applicable legal basis under the GDPR:
- Serving and measuring advertisements. Legal basis: consent (collected via the Google User Messaging Platform / UMP consent dialog presented on first launch and revisable at any time in app settings). Without consent, only non-personalised ads may be shown.
- Analytics and product improvement. Legal basis: legitimate interest (to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the application). You may opt out; see "Your Rights" below.
- Crash diagnostics and stability monitoring. Legal basis: legitimate interest (to maintain a stable and functional application). Diagnostic data is pseudonymised and does not include identifiable content.
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have conducted a balancing test and determined that our interests do not override your fundamental rights, given the limited and pseudonymised nature of the data involved.
Data Sharing and Third Parties
Corvant does not sell your personal data. We share data only as described below:
- Google LLC: as a data processor (for Firebase Crashlytics diagnostic data) and as an independent controller (for Google AdMob advertising and Firebase Analytics, pursuant to Google's Privacy Policy). Google may process data in the United States and other jurisdictions.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose data where required by applicable law, court order, or regulatory authority.
No other sharing occurs. There are no data brokers, marketing partners, or undisclosed processors.
International Data Transfers
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, data processed by Google may be transferred to the United States. Google relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses as the legal mechanism for such transfers. You can review Google's transfer safeguards at business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms.
Corvant itself does not transfer your personal data internationally, as we do not operate any servers that receive personal data from users.
Data Retention
On-device data (recent inputs, preferences) is retained until you delete the application or clear its data. You control this entirely.
Data held by Google (advertising identifiers, analytics events, crash reports) is retained in accordance with Google's policies and the retention period we configure in our Firebase/Google console: analytics data for a limited window, and crash diagnostics only for as long as needed to identify and fix defects. Advertising identifiers are managed by your device's OS-level privacy settings.
Your Rights
EEA and United Kingdom residents
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction: request that we restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To withdraw consent for personalised advertising, open the consent dialog within the app.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority.
Because Corvant does not independently collect your personal data, many of these rights must be exercised directly with Google for data Google holds. We will assist you in identifying the appropriate contact.
US residents (CCPA / state privacy laws)
If you are a California resident or a resident of another US state with applicable privacy legislation, you have the right to:
- Know: what personal information is collected and how it is used.
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense. However, the sharing of advertising identifiers with Google AdMob for interest-based advertising may constitute "sharing" or "sale" under some state laws. You may opt out by: (a) using the consent dialog in the app (presented on first launch), (b) resetting or limiting your device's advertising identifier in your device settings, or (c) opting out of personalised ads via Google Ad Settings.
- Non-discrimination: you will not be discriminated against for exercising any privacy rights.
To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
Nigeria (NDPA)
Corvant Technology Solutions Limited is established in Nigeria and is a data controller subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), overseen by the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC). As our home-jurisdiction law, the NDPA applies to our processing wherever you are located. If you are in Nigeria, you have rights equivalent to those described above, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of and objection to processing, data portability, and withdrawal of consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the NDPC if you believe your personal data has been handled unlawfully.
Managing advertising preferences
You can opt out of personalised advertisements at any time:
- In-app: use the consent settings accessible within the application.
- On Android: open Settings → Google → Ads to delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation.
- Via Google: visit adssettings.google.com.
Children's Privacy
This application is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete such information.
Security
Because Corvant does not operate servers that receive personal data from this application, the principal security risk to your data lies at the level of the third-party SDKs integrated into the app (Google AdMob and Firebase). Google maintains ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 compliance. We keep the SDKs up to date to ensure you benefit from the latest security patches.
On-device data is protected by your device's operating system security model, including file-system encryption where enabled.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where the change is material, provide notice within the application or via the app store listing. Continued use of the application after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
The current version of this policy is always available at corvantlabs.com/legal/privacy/.
